The data in CRM applications is often one of the most prized possessions of the company. It collects, grows, and resides at the heart of any organization. Although the CloudCTI software only replicates the relation’s contact information, the data’s security is of utmost importance. Before the replicated data is uploaded to the storage of the CloudCTI Recognition Service it is encrypted with a 'one time pad' which is exchanged over the secure line using two-directional PKI encryption when the software signs in with the user credentials. The number info requested on incoming call is also sent via the same secure channel.

The safety of the contact info data, and any other customer data, has the highest priority with CloudCTI. At the back-end, the data is stored in Microsoft’s SQL servers in the Windows Azure environment. These servers are located within Europe. The data of European companies at these locations are not subject to the Patriot Act. Customer data will never be shared with any third party.
